Can my 2 prong push & pull ignition switch be used as a magneto "kill switch" if I wire one of the terminals to ground (metal on tractor)???

Thanks,
Andy Motteberg.

Yes. BUT sooner or later somebody will will run the battery down trying to start it, because they either didn't know, or forgot, that the switch works backwards. Been there, done that, even worse because the one I have wired that way has no starter, and is parked on a hill most of the time.

Yes it will work but will be backwards as you will have to have it pushed in in the run possition and pull to kill.
