I have been having trouble selling a 1946 B model Farmall. It runs good and has new rubber. WOuld I have any better luck by disassembling the tractor and selling it off piece by piece? What"s the biggest selling item on this tractor? Thanks for your input.

I tried selling a non-running B with a Woods mower for 6 months. Had no luck, and finally pulled it out by the road with a "Free" sign. Took 4 days, but someone did pick it up and haul it away. This was down in SW Mo.

If I had known you had it for free it would have been gone the day you put the sign out LOL. Shoot I might have even payed you something for it, at least a case of beer LOL

Over the last year or 2 I have been tring to sell a few tractors and now have sold. Money is tight and with the gas prices going up and down so much I think people are holding tight to what they have. I know a friend that owns a pawn shop says hes had more pawns come in this past year then he has had ever.

Where are you located and what is your asking price for the tractor? Do you have detailed pictures of it?

I see running B Farmalls for around $900 to $1500 depending on the shape their in. Restored around $2500, maybe more if it is a really nice resto...

i think it just depends on what the buyer wants...Farmall B's aren't everywhere, so i would guess someone out there wants your Farmall

In my part of the world (SW Manitoba) B's are very scarce and therefor demand a premium over an A in similar condition. I looked for a while before I found one, course I haven't found a use for it yet and probably never will. Where should I be lookimg for these "FREE" tractors, or even parts of tractors.
