I am looking at a 5 ft Howse brand rotary cutter for my 140,Havent seen many of this brand name, Do they seem to hold up pretty good?

Not bad for the money. Parts do not interchange with most other brands. But Fred Cain blades will work on my 72" Howse.

I run one on my 140, and have gotten into some pretty thick and heavy stuff with it. Make sure to get an overrunning clutch for it.

have used one for 12 yr's on 70 acres woody and soil bank with no problems behind a M and use a over running extention on power takeoff.
