I checked mine and they were 120, 110, 110, and 125. quite a variance between the cylinders. I assume that is normal. Charles

Depends on what head/pistons the tractor has. See Justin's link for tune-up info for various configurations.

Nope they will not list what compression should be. The reason is that if your at sea level it will be differnt then it will be if your in Denver. Now on an M if you have 90PSI or better and they are with in 10-15% of each other then your good to go. 90PSI in about as low as it should be or you pretty much have a worn out engine unless its a distalite type engine then it can be lower. So any where from 90-150 is good the high the better depending how what engine you have and if it has high compression parts in it

I have never seen compression specs. I would think that anywhere between 90 and 140 ought to be good though. Isn't that mostly a function of valve settings ?
