You will also find:
- The brake drum will be in the wrong place on a right shaft moved to the left.
- The axle housing will not have an opening for the brake pull rod.
- You will need a BN width drawbar.
- The drop housings are left and right -- the bolt holes for the drawbar will be in the wrong place.

Bottom line: IMHO, You can sort of do it, but if you start with a buncha junk, you will end with a buncha junk.

yes the diff shaft housing will bolt on just fine. The diff shaft will be a problem as you have to have a long shaft to replace the narrow one from the A. You can shorten a left one used on a B 4in by cutting a section from the center this has been done in the past. The housing is large enough to even use a sleeve type coupling over the shaft. Just get it true before welding. If you could be so lucky as to find one from a BN that also would work. I can make one for you if needed.
