I have my Christmas Present. Had to work a little for it though. It ain't right for a 67 year old male to be acting like a 6 year old with his new tricycle. But, I'm telling you, I am so happy with this ring job in my H I can hardly stand it. My wife has just said, "You been down there running that tractor again...haven't you."

Yep..I have...from happy camper in Marshville NC.

Yup one of the neighbors up where my folks live found out about "in gear". It was early summer or something like that and the tractor is a 766? He was on the ground and started the tractor. Ground him up around the axel quite a few times till it ran into the side of the house. Closed coffin. Never assume guys. It will make an a s s out of U and ME. Not throwin too much water on the parade but this was a very good reminder. Had an idiot at work turn on a 1 1/4 gas main without an auto close gas coupler on the end. Natural gas shreaks when it is wide open! Lot of people went divein for cover! Have a Merry Christmas .Jeffcat

I know just how you feel Tom. I went to the store today where my tractor is and just sat there and looked at her. I decided to adjust the lifts of the cultivators a little, always some tinkering to do. It was raining and cold or I would have taken her out and drove around some. They really need to sweep the streets here where I wont get dirt on her next time.

Oh, I almost forgot. One time a couple of weeks ago I had the tractor out front and decided to reach over and start it. Well, I didnt check to see if it was in Neutral, I almost ran over myself. Now I know why they started adding that saftey thing where you have to depress the cluth to start the tractor. If it would have started I would have either been dead or chaseing my tractor down the street.
