Does anyone know of a source or tool for reaming bushing in bushings in the front axle extensions of a Super A. I've installed new ones and they are extremely tight. Would a small stone or bead type hone work?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Went and got a brake cylinder hone from Autozone and will give that a try. This tractor restoration project has certainly presented some challenges so far but I've always found that this forum to be a great source of knowledge to get me through the sticky points!

I just had the same problem with a Cub. I used a brake wheel cylinder hone. The problem is that it takes some patience, but you don't need to remove much. Roger

A hone maigh work if it doesn't need much or even a bolt with the head cut off and then a slit cut down the cneter of the bolt and emery cloth wrapped around the bolt. Chuck it up in a drill and spin it good. But thats only if you need a very small amount removed. A brake cylinder hone would probably be about the right size

I have used a small piece of tub, cut a slot down the middle with a bandsaw, makes what we called a sandpaper lap.
