Well got all my parts to put my TA back together, it went back together find. But when I started to put the TA back on the tractor, It went DOWN hill fast. The TA was just about on the rear frame when it slip. I heard aloud pop, well I have broke the constant mesh gear. What is the old saying "If it wasn't for bad luck,I'd have no luck at ALL. Next time I will get someone to help me put that TA on.

And don't forget to put a rubber band around the bearing when you slip the clutch houseing into the reae end.

TA rebuilding is a professional job, properly done and used it will last 10,000 hours. Just go back into the archives, see all the posts about backyard TA rebuilds and how they only last a fraction of the lifespan expected.

There has really never been anything wrong with TA. Most of the problem has been people.
