Travelled from LHC in Az to Vegas on Tuesday, there was about 4" at Searchlight,NV and a couple of inches in Vegas. I have never seen snow there before, but the graders had to do their plowing thing at Searchlight, must be a novelty for them to push snow. Darald

Average of about 24" here about 10 miles east of Boulder, Colorado, 20 miles north of Denver. Varies from 0" to four feet since we had 35-40 MPH winds along with the snow. Lots of vehicles decorating the sides of the roads yet, a day after the snow and wind stopped, especially going up the hills. Should mostly be gone by the end of the day with the roads pretty clear since the sun has come out and looks to be with us all day.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

We have nothing here, haven"t even had much this winter. The frost is even minimal. We could use a lot of snow, the drought is really bad. The gravel driveway is cracking this winter. Hopefully January will bring some snow, December isn"t looking good for snow.

We got about two inches up here by the cities yesterday, but about half of it has already turned to slush, so i dont know if it will still be here for Christmas.

Haven't heard of that one for a long time.....I think the rules were pretty basic though. Of couse a lot of them were also made up on the spot, and depending on who was all in on it!! Always fun. I'll have to teach that one to the boys, if we ever get snow that is.

Merry Christmas All!!

Hi Tom, I'm a Kiwi living in the UK I have the tractor disease and have a Farmall H 1943. Sadly the commission plate on the transmission is missing.Would the engine number(which is FBH135500X3)be the same as the plate? In the UK I need that plate No. to get an age related number plate made.Only cosmetic but I like to keep a tractor's integrety.I have a blank plate and can stamp it ok.Also is the single wire from the switch on the dash connected to the slotted screw on the mag for the earth/stop?
Look forward to hearing from you. Have a merry Christmas.I have two weeks off.

We've got about 10" here in N.Central NE.

With a coating of solid ice under it from a day of freezing rain to boot!

Sure beats the dust we had before though!

I've got 4 foot in the driveway, a 7-8 foot drift in the front lawn, and 2 foot or so through the fields. Supposed to snow a little more Saturday, so looks like a white Christmas here in Colorado (30 miles NE of Denver).

So, we are in first place here in Mitchell SD with 5-6 inches 12-21, and another 2 inches last night, and it's still coming down, lightly. Not enough to crank up the tractor though, just used the walk behing snowblower, down to the mailbox and back twice. That's 1500 feet total, but I was running in speed 4.

We have only 6 inches on the fields here in SW Manitoba and although it will get above freezing today the snow will stay. The only year I can remember not having snow here for Xmas was 1999.
