Does anyone know where I can get a 359971R11 Shaft, power take driver. And a 360469R1 the gear that goes on that shaft. My shaft and gear is worn out. It has a lot of play in the gear and sometime it is getting into housing.

I was fairly sure I knew what you were talking about but you used the word "driver". It is actually the driven gear and shaft. I checked your part numbers.

I had to replace the same on a SMTA. I also suspected the roller bearing was bad and changed that as well. Steel Wheel Ranch fixed me up with good parts.

I'm not sure what causes the failure. Perhaps it is common to all similar tractors (400, 450, 560) that see alot of PTO use. It may also occur where the PTO is subject to high momentary shock loads such as a bush hog turned into a rock crusher. This is the reason why my mower only goes on one tractor even though it will fit several others.

I think you would be smart to find a salvage yard where the local agricultural practices do not depend on heavy or severe PTO operation. Everett, Kansas worked for me.

It is on a 400 gas.
