I just went out and measured my bore, It did come out to be a 4" bore in the sleeve. So possibly it was changed at one time and the wrong rings were put in?

Thanks Derek

That is what it sounds like, based on the gap you mentioned earlier.

I guess now my question is, can I get rings for this or I should I not worry about that. I just can't belive that the tractor actually ran with that kinda gap Derek

4" rings are available (on this site for one) and should provide a positive effect on oil consumption, compression, and power. Ridge ream the enging no matter what, even a undetectable ridge will make noise on a crisp new ring edge trying to slap into the un worn area of the bore, possibly breaking them!! JimN
