Yippie, I have myself another Farmall 340. Sold my rowcrop year ago last August. At dad"s auction in October, he sold his AC-WC and B. Well, I had been looking long before that for another 340. Although it doesn"t have power steering, it has good working TA; fast-hitch and drawbar; no smoke; no fluid in tubes; good hydraulics; good front tires. LR tire is good; RR is cracked and not much tread. I will have to take paint remover and carefully clean tag to get serial #. Found it in N. Illinois and U-Hauled it back to SW-Wisconsin Friday p.m. It sure seems happy here. Saturday I took dad out for breakfast and couldn"t hardly keep from saying anything. I waited until I took him up to my house. Dad"s face lit up and he wanted me to push him around the tractor in his wheelchair for a "look-see". He even looked a little teary-eyed when I started it and let it run. I knew then I had his approval. Back at the room, he said "I like your tractor". So do I. This afternoon I used the Farmall 340 to tow the U-Haul trailer for drop off and brought back my small trailer with my Christmas tree that I cut. Yup, pretty late, but I got one that has a wonderful aroma. After I cut the tree, I walked across the grassed waterway to my late girlfriends gravesite. What a peaceful afternoon. Then back on the tractor with a stop to see dad again. Back after dark. Will have to get wires run to the back light and check the RF light. I wanted to get a good picture of the 340, but Saturday was dark and drizzly. I want to "pose" my 340 and get some good pictures and will [brag] post a portrait later. Time now for some hot chocolate and many pages of YT discussion forum to catch up on. Hope you folks enjoyed your weekend.

Not a special. F100 w/four on the floor. Purchased it on ebay from a university professor in Tampa. He drove it 6-7 round trip miles per day. Was shocked I was going to drive it back to Wisconsin. I said "...if I broke down 30 miles from home, I would have to call for help. The best thing for it is to drive it." Ran/runs good. I enjoy it. Thanks guys for your comments and for getting my picture to post.
