I am restoring a 1952 Super AV. What is the correct paint? Is it "Farmall Red" or is it International Red"? I have access to both. What is the difference?

The name is left up to the paint manufacturer. I think IH called it "Harvester Red". Problem is there were 4 shades up until 1980 or so. IH 50/PPG 71310/DuPont 7410 was used until 1949, IH 1102a or b 1949-1958, IH 201 1958-1961, IH 2150/PPG 71310/DuPont 96766 1961-1980 something. Note that the "correct" 1102, probably does not cross to any current code, so you are mostly stuck with 50 or 2150. I have no clue where the shades you are currently looking at came from, they very likly are not "correct" either, as 50+ year old paint is hard to duplicate. I use a slightly modified version of 2150 mixed as a variant of PPG 71310, as 2150/PPG 71310 have too much orange in them, in my opinion. Basically it's whatever satisfies you, and pay no attention to those who say you are wrong. Different companies paint will be different shade, even if they claim to cross to the correct color for whatever time period. Even IH 2150 is not the same shade it was 10 or so years ago, because the lead was removed and the manufacturing process changed. It's all a big guess.
