Hi , I cleaned all the cookies from my computer and now when I search ebay the page loads all spread out vertically with very little definition . I've tried the customize page in ebay and view in the toolbar ( I use Netscape ) but nothing helps . I've tried starting the search's from scratch instead of from bookmarks but as soon as I get to the items it spreads out . Any one had this problem ? Any one know how to work through it ? It's annoying ! Thanks ...Randy

I vouch for Firefox and thunderbird. I have been a netscape user for years and switching was a really smart move. Just the add on's available are reason enough!

I think it is something ebay is doing, I dont like it, I have to scroll to the sides just to see the whole page left and right, I think it must be ebay, because ebay motors is like it all used to be,, I have tried a few things as well to get it back to normal or at least the size of the screen with no progress, hope that helps .pat

You might just want to download Firefox and quit fighting Netscape. It's free, much faster than IE or Netscape, and more secure. You can transfer all you bookmarks if you want to.....

Randy,

I've already mentioned the main advantages, speed and security. Most IT people like it for the latter reason. IE has had security glitches for a long time now, and by being the most popular browser, IE is also most targeted by hackers. I used Netscape from the beginning then switched over to Firefox when Netscape finally became impossible which was after version 4.8?? or so.
The main negative will be figuring out how to transfer your bookmarks (and your mail folders if you go with Thunderbird). It can be done - instructions are on the help site somewhere.

PS - Keep in mind that 99% of all eBay-related browser problems are the result of absolute garbage programming by eBay, not something that you are doing.

Deleting cookies wouldnt have caused the problem.

Try downloading Netscape again and see if that fixes it.

Do you have IE where you could go to ebay with that browser?
