i ordered a farmall M carb. kit from OEM tractor parts and the float valve and seat do not match my carb . i ordered the carb kit for model # DB50983 (the # on the little brass tag riveted to the throttle body) . i called OEM tractor parts and they don't have an anwser . the float seat in the kit has a slotted head and all of the seat screws into the throttle body except head ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... . the float seat in my carb has a hex body for tightning and most of the seat sticks out when installed

thank bill

That is an easy answer. They just plain sent you the wrong parts. The floats, needle valves, and seats, are all exactly the same from the super H up through and including the superM, 400. 450, 560, and maybe even the 706 and 806. Kinda sounds like maybe OEM gets their kits from A&I.
