Would a Schwartz WF from an M/SM fit on a Farmall 300? Bolt hole from the bolster plate? Rear support? What about the spindle size?

I took a Schwartz wide front off a 450 and put it on my H. The main 4 bolts that go into the bolster are the exact same measurement from the H all the way through the 1456!

I had to slot the steering arm holes to fit on the H (or you can buy a new steering arm already drilled for the H). The rear frame supports I custom made as well with some tubing and flat iron, I believe.

It will work if you have some very minor fabrication skills. Again, the main bolster pattern of 4 bolts is the same for H through 1456. The rest is just minor details...

Here is the Schwartz wide front on my H:

I dont think it will, i think where is bolts up that controls your steering is a smaller, One way to see if the back support is right is to measure from one side of the tractor to the other side (from one heavy bar to the other on the out side of the engine) do that with booth tractors, i think the 300 is 2 inches bigger, i know a person who didnt measure anything to see if it was going to work or not, where you bolt the 2 steering peices to gether he just put small bolts in there and for the back support they were close enough he just welded them on, I think i would just leave it, the narrow front back onto the other he also had to use small bolts. I guess you could do some meausing.

Good Luck

Would the 300 be a couple inches smaller and not bigger? Seems to me that the 300 replaced the H/Super H. Gordon, let me know what I need to measure and we can see if it will fit my 300. Thank you!!!
