Oil pan leak

I have farmall c, and have a oil pan leak.The leak is from the two bolts that bolt on to the front and rear crankshaft oil seal retainer plate.The threads are stripped.Is there anything i can do , besides splitting the tractor up. thanks in advance , George

Those front and back covers are aluminium, that is why they get stripped out. As others said, either drill and tap to a larger size or put in a helicoil. There may not be much metal left to drill out much larger hole. Roger

You could try some JB on the threads it mite work youre not the first one to strip them.

I'm not that familiar with the engines in the Cs, but could you drill and tap those stripped holes to the next larger size?

Either that or helicoil, advance auto has the cheaper kits then autozone...
