Is the front bolster on an H reversible. The front side of the top plate on the bolster where you can bolt an auxiliary push plate to is broken across the bolt holes. It looks to me like I can unbolt the front bolster (4 bolts), turn it 180 degrees, and rebolt it, and then I can bolt the bush plate to the new leading edge.

Am I missing something, or will this seemingly easy solution work? If it can be done, what do I need to watch out for so I don't screw something up?

Thanks for the help.

The bolster has caster designed into it. It will fit either way, but, if it is bolted on backwards the tractor will be hard to steer at speed.

I believe the early ones were the smae fornt and rear, with the built in caster being added somewhere along the production line, with a wedge being available as an after fit to add caster.
