Allen in NE, I'm sure it's been covered before, but just where in NE are you? I've just moved to the Aurora area. Sure is different from Northern ILL and SE Iowa.

DJL, for some reason Aurora had a special ring to it, then it dawned on me. My Great Granddad is buried in Aurora, NE.

Allan is just South the the Dakoda bad lands, He is so far out in the middle of NO where they pump sunlite in to him!!..:>)

Hi Feller,

Glad you got your place bought; always a good feeling.

To get to my place head west. Travel for 3 days and you will begin to notice the jack rabbits carrying their lunch in a sack.

Just keep going west.

You will eventually come to the edge of the world, where you'll notice a large "drop-off". I live just 100 miles further west. :>)

Allan

Now Allen, seems yer stretching things just a tad...heck, Aurora's far enough west that it's almost in the "good" part of the state(just kidding!)...our pickin' buddy Scot and I made a trip from Lincoln to your area once in one day, in November when it was snowing, in a top-down convertible.....ok, it was a LONG day....and our teeth were chatterin' enough by the time we hit the Mountian Time Zone that we couldn't tell a jackrabit from an antelope, but we did 'er. 'Course the antifreeze may have contributed to that vision problem.....oh, the good old days!

I had to look at the map to find Aurora, looks like you are still in civilization. I am in SW Iowa, I think I am closer to you than Allan is.
