Well i got the H home but i have not looked at it in depth. I still hav'nt seen if it was froze. didn't try to see if it would turn over while dragging it up on the trailer. the hand crank is stuck, couldnt push it in to ingage the crank pulley.

rear tires are different size, 11-38& 12.4-38 if my memory serves me right. dirt daubbers in the exhaust, intake. manifold needs replaced(welded, cracked, welded) plus the exhaust pipe is welded, spliced, welded. Looks like all the peices are here ,except generator(converted to alt).

I can see right now i need some manuals, way different than a super a.I assume it has a hyd pump somewhere as i see fittings pluged off on the side of the case and a filler cap. Did you have to buy a control and add on?

This tractor is going on the back burner for awhile as i just started on a cub. Just room for one tractor in the shop and wallet.

The H was made in very large numbers and the items you are looking for will be very easy to find. The control rod, control lever and control rod bracket will be easy to find at almost any tractor salvage yard or through a classified want ad here on this site. Have fun with your new tractor. Hal

11-38 and 12.4-38 are the same tire, if they have the same ply rating. 12.4 is the cross section at the widest point, 11 is the tread width, 12.4 is the "new" designation. It should have a belly pump, not live. Sounds like the control arm and the actuating rod are missing. The rod runs up through a bracket next to the steering post.

The steering post has been replaced with a peice of galvanized pipe, are the control arm and acuating rod hard to find? Like i said i need manuals. I am used to the super a,cub as far as controls are concerned.

I did get the hand crank loose and moved the pistons (not far)so it is not stuck. May put some oil in cylinders just as a precaution. Going to be a while before i even start it or try to start it.Lots of dirt daubber nests to clean out..

This stuff is not hard to find. Very economical prices compared to other tractors I have had around here. Just make a list. Most of the members of this list have their own junk yard anyway ;-)
