We have had our first major snow fall in the last several years. We got 12.5 inches of wet snow. I spent all day on the C snow blade to get the drive clean. I found I need tire chains bad. Where can one get these for 11.2X36 tires or do they need to be found at sales?

Thanks!!!

I have 2 or 3 sets I made from old tire chains. I just stop by the road dept for the count or state and bu7y there old chains that they no longer use and fix them up to fit what ever tire I need them for. Nice thing is they sell them cheap and its not all that hard to splice them and cut the back down to size

I bought mine at www.tirechains.com as well. Very happy with the service... and even with shipping, the price was better than what I could get locally. Plus, I couln't get the style I wanted locally. Made a big difference too. Don't need 'em every year, but when you need 'em, you REALLY need 'em. I have a blade in back and a loader up front. Even though the tractor has wheel weights, the it's a little light in back, so the chains help a lot. Sometimes I hang some railroad iron on the lift arms.
