Is it possible to replace the rear main seal while the engine is in the tractor?

I would appreciate any advice on how to do this if it is possible.

Not sure on a W-4, but on a WD-9 we had to lift the motor and set it crosswise on the main frame (oil pan was off) to get to the rear main. Of course we found out later that the rear main bearing was worn and that was why the original oil seal was leaking. You may have a bad rear main bearing if the seal is leaking.
