I am interested in more power from my Super C. I had a source for high-altitude firecrater pistons but that disappeared. Does anybody know of a source for those? Does anybody have opinions on aftermarket pistons: Tru Power, Tisco, etc? I'm not interested in tractor pulling and didn't find much on that forum. I just need enough power to get a finish mower up some steep hills around my place.

Also check the part# as it will tell you if you can go to 3 1/4 bore or have to stay with 3 1/8 as the 3 1/4 will give you 135cuin and by running around 1750rpm you will have 26 or so HP.

Thanks Shaggy. I was looking at that kit. Is anyone familiar with Tru Power?

Good morning!
You need to measure the bottom of the block where the sleeve stick thru to make sure what sleeve kit you need. The C-113 block measure 3 5/16th and the C-123 are 3 7/16th. I would think a C block would be 3 7/16th but that is just me thinking again.

Check the part # on your block as you dont have the right block you cannot use the 3 1/4 hi dome rebuilt kit. Get the serial number that is on the block under the #1 spark plug and then with the part# on the block you will be able to get the correct stuff for you power increase.

You can install an overbore kit in the Super C.
that increases the bore from 3.125" to 3.250" and
the cid from 123 to 133cid. There's no machining required to use this overbore kit. They have stepped head pistons too. Hal

The kit I have in my B is a Tisco kit and the part number is TK-EOK 1154B. They sell the same kit on this site for about the same money I got mine and the compression won't be to bad with a stock head off a B.

NAPA auto stores sell Clevite sleeve kits. Not sure if they have the pistons you need. You can try this web site too for Clevite. Hal

You can contact aicatalog.com for an overhaul kit
and it will include your bearings. Need to have the shaft measured so you know which bearings to order. I think the gasket set is included too for $378.00. Hal
