Does anyone have the dimensions and bolt hole pattern for the fender extensions for an H. I would like to make my own.

Randy

I used channel iron for mine, turned so the flat part of the channel is on the top,it is 5 or 6 inch I forget right now,the sides of the channel fit flush with the front and back of the axel housing, the channel spaced the fender up just right, and added alot more bracing for the fenders to mount to ,it is 12 or 14 inches long

Brad

Do you know what size and how thick the plate is?

I used 1/2 plate with pretty alum. riser blocks on mine (being a machinist helped a bit) I have 560 fenders on my MD and I wanted to get the bend over the tire. I am not by my tractor to measure anything now but I can maybe this weekend if you want.
Here is a pic but it is not the best to show the way that my fenders are mounted

I just made a set out of 1/2" X 5" strap iron- 12" long. I used 5/8" nuts stacked two high for spacers to clear the drawbar mounting bolts. The origional spacers were made out of pipe, but I thought the nuts were a little more solid. Good luck on cleaning the mounting holes in the top of the axel housing if they have never been used.

just measure the center to center of the holes (they are NOT in a sqaure pattern also) and that is your holes to mount to the axle housing and then measure how far over you want the fender to sit and then put in the same hole pattern there. It does not take to long to do. Don't forget, you may want some sort of riser to get the fenders higher for more protection from the tires.

Depends on the bolts used,Mine are the 4 outer holes.4" center to center I think it was.Made my spacers from cold roll and drilled a hole in the center for the bolt.My neighbors Super M uses the two inner holes.

I made my own as well. Just got half inch plate and made two identical patterns on each end of a 8 inch long plate and it worked fine. I take a bolt and cut 2 slots up the threads and turn into the holes and the dirt can come up the slots and take out a few times to clean and then blow out with compressor. Helps to put a point on the end of the slotted bolt to cut down thru the crud. Really helps to have the fenders set out a bit. migraine
