I just picked up a 1960 International 560 Standard diesel(wheatland) with a Duall loader. I can't find the total weight of the tractor in any of the manuals. From the way it pulled on the trailer, it's got to be 8500# or better. It has the loader on it, and 3/4 loaded 18.4-30's with chains and two wheel weights per rear wheel. I have searched the net a little with no success. Does anybody know where I can find weight specs?

My W560D with no weights, no calcium, no belt pulley, with PTO is just under 6100lbs.

Thanks for the replies guys. I"m guessing my estimate of 8500# may have been a little low. The loader is a heavy loader. I need to change a rear axel seal and go through the filters and fluids. Then I can play with it and get a better idea of how it feels.

your tractor should be very close in weight to a row crop 560D. The front is heavier but you don't have extended axles. Rear weights are 145 lbs each. I think there was an option of a heavy cast wheel as used on the 660, those weigh about 700 each. A tire store could give you the weight of your liquid ballast. Anybody's guess on the loader.

Nebraksa didn't test the IH 560. The Farmall 560 weighed 6785. The IH 660 weighed 9635. One of the 660s was tested at 15,075 by adding ballast. I have been told the planetary adaptation added 1500 lbs to the 660 and there is little other difference between the two tractors from the tub forward. 9635 minus 1500 lbs would be 8135.

Loaders can vary significantly in weight depending on their ruggedness. I would assume the IH 560 had a beefy loader.

560 and 660 did not have interchangable wheels. 660 wheels will not fit on a 560. The 560 had three wheel options. Disc, light cast, and heavy cast.

I expect your estimate as you hauled it is quite close, maybe a bit low. I expect shipping weight was between 6 and 7 K.
