I know nothing about tractors. I do not even know how to drive one. My Grandfather however knew about them and he owned a Farmall Model B. I am wanting to find one and restore it. What years did they make this model? Is this a hard tractor to find? Is it a hard tractor to find parts for?
Thanks,
Rick

Farmall B's were made from 1939 to 1947.

There were about 75,000 B's & BN's(a varient of the B) made.

They are not hard to find in most areas of the country. I don't know where you are, but if you are willing to travel a little, you should have no trouble finding one. Watch the photo ads on this site, there is often one for sale on there.

Parts are not difficult to find because B's share many parts with the Farmall A, AV, BN, & C.

I would also add to that you can haul a B on an average two axle trailer...just watch the width...and you can pull it with a full size pickup. I rented a trailer and used the F150 to bring mine home. Absolutely no problem. Nice little tractor. Hard to get used to if you have been driving an M or larger model but it has about the same width.
