I need some help. I just aquired an international 300U and when I got the tractor, the fast hitch would settle badly. I did a search on here and read that the hoses may have been switched and causing the valve not to work properly. I switched the hoses and it took care of the fast hitch dropping, but it made the lever work backwards. I mean when you push the lever forward it lifts and visa versa. Did I do something wrong? Is there someway to correct this?

That is the correct lever operation. They are backwards to most tractors. Most of the levers are laid back to the point of when you pull up on it it raises the lift and vice versa.
