Almost done!!! Ya'll are gonna find what I did to it kind of bizzare after seeing the finished product but it will be nice:)

Here it is after mechanical and sheetmetal repair. I didn't do a full "restoration" per say like I would do on a vehicle. I bought this for utility and to work with so it's no show queen.

The tractor is protected by a full coat of POR-15 which was let to dry till tack and dusted with an even coat of zinc based primer. The topcoat is a double layer of Halliburton chemical resistant/acid proof paint in Halliburton Red (compliments of work LOL!). POR-15 protects the entire tractor and is double coated on the deck, underside and inside of the final drives, and all bolt on items. I swear by POR-15, it is definitley a mirical worker in my hobby. I still have to do my front axle, rims, etc, but those are little things.

Big thanks to Hugh McKay and everyone else for all of the help! Will post an update when it's finished!!!! First pic with little bubba on the new adition.

Patrick: Good show, seems not that long ago you were describing a 100, much less than we see in this photo. looking good.

I like that hat, one like that would keep the sun off my ears as well as my bauld head.

That's my style of hat, too. Feed caps don't give nearly the weather protection. A good bucket hat is almost as much help as an umbrella, and no hands.

Looks workable to me.
The left front tire could use some fresh duct tape, though ;-)
Good luck,
Wm

LOL! Yep, my littlebrothers got that hat and a USMC boonie hat that I bought him. I told him he'd better get used to wearing either when he mows. He's a rascal and has pretty much laid claim to this new toy so I'm letting him be my official "bushog boy". :)

I've got new rubber for the front and will have new rubber for the rear next week although I won't put them on till I completley wear the old rears out.
