Lost the loader lift, found my hyd. filter and bypass screen plugged with this fine red gunk...almost like paint. I changed the oil and filter 1.5 years ago and never had gunk like this in it. Any ideas what this could be from?? Also does anyone know what the filter number from napa is? They list 3 filters and had none in stock to compare and my old one had no numbers on it. Filter looks the same as my 656 filter. Thanks in advance.

Mine is a late 660, but it just has the one oblonged filter with the bypass that fits in the side.

so, you are saying it has an oblong prefilter and an oblong filter? It could have the same filter as a 560, the early 660's used that. I have found there are parts used on 660's that don't correspond with the book.

If you have a late 660 the number is 375085R91. inside the box will be 2 small cylindrical elements.
