I am thinking about putting all three new cables on but not sure about what Gauge to get and where to buy them. Are there kits made for these tractors. thanks

Your tractor is 12 volt. it starts on gas (lower compression) and is pretty forgiving, but I like the welding cable idea. Lots of welding cable is #2 and just about ideal for battery cables. The beauty of the welding cable is the number of fine strands which gives you flexibility while maintaining low resistance. I"ve also gone to NAPA and gotten heavy battery cable that worked well.

Try to get them made out of welding cable. "00" or "0" size will work very well. Nearly any welding supply house will sell you welding lead by the foot... You can get cable ends there also. Tallperson

I got a set of cables made at the local truck repair shop. All 3 for my W6 were around $50.00. Get the biggest cables they have, very important if your tractor is 6 volt.
