I have the correct block for the high altitude fire crater pistons and liners. I was wondering if there are problems with running high altitude pistons at sea level. Any over-heating?

All of the C blocks could take increased bore with domed pistons same with SUPER Cs Problem is which bore are we wishing to go to. You can go to 3 1/8 or even 3 1/4 depending on which block you have some have even tirned sleeves down where the o-ring goes to add larger dia sleeves. You need to pull a sleeve to see for sure what that dia realy is as you have an old tractor and no way of knowing if block has been changed thats why i would pull a sleeve then measure and go from there. There was a post on here not to long ago that had ordered a kit and not knowing facts installed rings on the pistons then discovered that he had wrong sleeve and how do you return a kit that has rings on the pistons so save some greif and pull a sleeve and measure then proceed.

Should not be any problems. Go for it. You will like the extra power.
