Farmall A clutch fix

I bought a clutch kit for my "A". It came with a release bearing and a small bushing. My service manual has nothing in it that says how to replace the bearing and what the bushing is for. Any instructions or help?

the bushing is the pilot bushing for the shaft. It is inside the end of the crankshaft. You can get the old one out by getting a socket that fits the inside gole and putting grease in the hole. Use a hammer and extension to jack it out. put grease in hole put socket and extension in hole ,hit with hammer. it will push the old bushing out. just keep adding grease till you have it out.

The release bearing should be easy to replace also. it is pressed on to the shaft that slides when the clutch is pressed. you can probably drive the old one off and carefully drive the new one on in its place.

Hopefully someone will have better instructions. Just trying to let you know it is not a hard task.
