I have a international 350 utility diesel. Bougth it,had it shipped, ran for 10 minutes then a rod broke and put a big hole thru the block, what a mess. Tryed to get the motor fixed but no luck. Just want to get ride of it. Back rubber is almost brand new. Tin is decent, paint faded.Wide front end, spin out rear rims.Tractor split and engine in pieces. Seems to be some decent parts except the engine. Any one know what i should ask for this. Tryin to find parts seems to be hard so this tractor migth be rare? Thanks.

If you want to fix it, then do as the others said, put a 169 or a 175 gas engine in it. You will have to change a few other things though, such as two front bolster/engine mounts, hyd. pump & lines. I don't have an engine, but may be able to help with other parts if you decide to change it over. Might even be interested in some of the diesel parts if you part it. You can send me an email when you decide. Good luck !

Does the unit have power steering? I know power steering parts are expensive and hard to come by for the gasoline powered units, but I do not know if they are the same as used on a diesel. How about a T/A?

If it has power steering and T/A and you are selling it outright, I would not let it go for less than $1000. Parted out it is probably worth 2X that IF you can find a buyer.

I was told 10 years ago that parts for that diesel engine are pricey and hard to come by. Sounds like things have not changed.

The Continental diesel in your tractor is hard, but not impossible to find but likely expensive. The rest of the parts are relatively easy to find. I suppose you could put a C175 gas engine in it.
