How much wear is too much on the four tapered bolts that attached the transmission drive shaft to the clutch shaft? All four of mine have at lest a 1/16 of an inch crease or indention on one side. I check the Case/HI dealer, who can get them, but there $25 bucks a piece. Will turning them so the good edge of the bolts are on the driving side help or should I bight the bullet and fork out the 100 bucks for new ones? Thanks Ronbolts. Thanks Ron

I just replaced mine on my M they were about halfway through and still going. Found them by accident luckily i found a used shaft and the bolts and washers were good.

I have seen them wore half way through, yours are nearly new, if you do buy new ones I'd like to buy your old ones. If the rubber washers are hard and cracked I would replace them
