Hugh...Couldn't help but notice your mention in a recent post of being "the Scotsman" in this group. Aye. Our daughter married a Scotsman named Paul Macdonald this past summer--in the Scottish West Highlands town of Fort William. Beautiful place. In fact, the shots from the wedding are on a website anyone can access: www.albaweddingphotography.co.uk/kristen. I'm the shify-looking older dude with the silver (gray) hair wearing the kilt and Prince Charlie jacket. Wife Susie has on the hot pink outfit with the bodacious bonnet.Paul make swords for a living and is a world-class fencing master. He and Kristin live in Edinburgh. Paul makes historically accurate swords for people, gives lessons and demos all over the world. If interested, you can access www.historicalfencing.org/Macdonaldacademy/master.htm. Paul is originally from a little town called Glenuig, near the Isle of Skye. His folks, Simon and Irene Macdonald, still live there and own a smokehouse where they smoke salmon, trout, duck, cheese, you name it, and sell it worldwide via their internet site. Very delicious stuff. Simon is at www.smokedproduce.com. Where in Scotland are you, or your family, from, Hugh? Hope I'm not telling tales out of school, but BillyinStoughton on this site is Scottish as well. His family is a sept of the Gunn clan. He's another kilt-wearer, literally. Sorry for going on, but we're pretty proud to be a new part of the Macdonald clan. David
