When I was changing the oil last night, a little antifreeze was sitting on the drain plug. Add that to the low oil pressure and obvious blow-by, it's time for an engine rebuild.

Are there any worthwhile upgrades for this motor as long as it is all apart ? I'm just using it for cultivating, pulling wagons, running the elevator, etc.

Greg

I would add to what El Toro, and Gene suggested (though you probably would do it any way)that it would be a good time to drain and replace the fluids in the unit with modern quality products, use multi wt oil, and freshen other components to assure continued long life. JimN

You can install an 3.250" overbore sleeve kit to boost the engine cid without any machining to the block. Clean the block area where your sleeve seals are installed thoroughly of any dirt or rust so there's no coolant leakage.

Sounds like yours has a busy life. I would pull the engine put it on a stand get crank reground new hi-dome pistons rings and sleeves run the head thru shop and when done you will have a new engine that will last as long as you will have use for it. You can get kits new pistons, rings, bearings, sleeves and gaskets for less than 500.
