Just purchased another H and the front and rear wheels are cut offs. The rear wheels, and of course tires, on the tractor are 36 inch. Where any cut offs made into 38 inchers? Or was 36 inch the standard after the steel wheel was cut off? Thanks, Ed Red

WE've got an F-12 with cut-offs & they are 38's. I think they used what ever was available and/or what the owner wanted. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

if they were cut down early in the game they got 36" rims after '40 they probably got 38" rims.

randy hall has it as I have heard it from old timers telling me that F-12 owners wanted the extra speed, not insignificant, that tall wheels brought. Going from steel to rubber had an advantage besides more power to ground and ride comfort.
