My brother wants to sell a 300u.
He has not got it to run.
Steering has a hyd. cyl. on each side of tractor.
Steering box/gear must be bad.
No seat.
Rear tires look ok.
It is in st johns mi.

A steering slave cylinder system might be a retrofitted PS system. If it is done well, it would add to the tractors value. If shoddy and poorely adapted, it would be a liability. I think diesel 350Us had hydrostatic. JimN

In that condition is worth just a little more then scrap price. So that would be around $200-500 depending on sheet metal, options it has etc. Running it can be worth up to $3000 or so again depending on sheet metal tires etc. etc.

Does it have a pto?, loader? If it doesnt run, it decreases the value probably in half. Getting it to ru n would be ideal
I'd say 500 nonriunning, maybe 1200 running without pto or loader
with pto, probly add another 200, and if loader and pto, maybe add another 5-600.
Thats what they seem to go for in my area.
