I am installing an international harester wide front end on my M. I want to use the set-back plate, so the wheelbase won't be so long, but the radiator drain pipe comes down where one of the mounting bolts fastens to the plate. How did IH solve this problem?

You use a street 45 and I think a 6" nipple. It angles over to where you could drain it. No you don't use a torch.

I used a cutting torch to make new hole.
