Are the 140's the only model that after you drive them you have black hands? Its been doing this for at least 30 years and still does it. You would think at some point in time it would stop but it never does.

All old steering wheels do that unless you coat htem with something. I've seen people use electrical tape, friction tape, slip on wheel covers, polyruethane, etc. My personal prference is Plasti-dip like you use on tool handles.

Not until the rubber is clear gone. And then the bare iron will color your hands. Just wear gloves.
