Taking my 47 H to an auction in Manchester Tn on Saturday, a good tractor ready to work or restore. Runs good, makes a clicking noise in second gear with no load , all other gears ok. I am just wanting to get some ideas on the price I should start the bid at. I don't have to sell it but I am needing the room in my sheds and I don't use it much. Thanks Ed

Boy oh boy, that broken gear is going to hurt you. The tractor is worth way more in pieces than it is whole but if you insist on selling it that way you'll have to take what you can get. I wouldn't be surprised if it will bring $6-800 though and the poor man that buys it is going to be sorry by the time he pays the repair bill cuz he could have bought a better one cheaper.
