Bought a henederson midget loader for the super c.Originally the loader had a pto mount hyd pump, which is long gone. The loader was removed from a super a,which was plumbed through the touch control. The question is when I install the hydraulic reservoir for the loader, does it plumb into the fill port or the drain port of the super c touch control??And if I end up replacing the control valve on the loader(single action cylinders for the arms and trip bucket)what do I buy? This is my first experience with hydraulics. Thanks

There are several types and brands to get just make sure when you get one that it is either for one way or for two way. Another thing is have it spring loaded so as to return to neutral and also have the holding feature so when cycl gets to the end of travel it will return to neutral. This feature is sometimes called hold. Any good hy shop should be able to get the correct one for you. The hold feature is nice as when you want to raise the loader you dont have to hold lever while raising can free up your hand for a little.

Some have a large pipe with fittings screwed rite to the fill opening on the rockshaft assy. This is the way I-H done for the loader. Then to add oil just have a plug on top of the res.

on my SC they just took a piece of 4x4 12in long and made a res out of that and then plumbed it into the filler res. the control valve is mounted on the light bar. Lift is slow because they didnt use a larger pipe when the tapped into the housing where the lines go into the rockshaft. Lots have just added a tee in the pressure line going to the rockshaft assy. The pump will go about 1100-1500 lbs so you have pretty good lift cap. it is a HENDERSON built fot a C or SC.

What reservoir are you taking about. Is it on the tractor or the loader? Cause it matters where you plumb it too.

If the loader is going to stay on the tractor it can be mounted on the loader just make sure it is higher than the filler opening. Like i said I-H used a 3in piece of pipe and plumbed it into the filler plug maybe it wasnt 3in but thats where they did it.My loader is welded to the frame of the loader on the left side with a hose going to the filler opening.
