Which is better? They both have diesel engines in them. So the 656d runs but the hydraulics don't work it doesn't have 3 point but there is another 656 parts tractor that has it. The tie rods are shot TA doesn't work but it doesn't growl. So i thing the clutch is stuck or the over run is stuck. Engine is good and doesn't leak that bad.

606d stuck motor every thing is tight. tires are fare except the front. Just needs a major over haul.

656 $4000 After parts $5500

606 $2500 After parts $6500

I would use them for baling and cutting most the summer. what are the pro"s and con of both of these tractors.

Run away from both of them. They"re way overpriced for the condition they"re in. Your guess of having only $6500 into the 606 after an overhaul is pretty unlikely. You have no idea what else is wrong until you get it running. For baling and cutting, a row-crop style tractor will be best. 606"s only came as a utility.

I agree with KB,

If you take 'er all the way, you're gonna see somewhere in the neighborhood of $14K. Been there; done that.
