The d414 is a newer wet sleeve moter used in the 66, 86 series tractors ,
The D407 is a dry sleeve motor used in the older 806 tractors. Dont know of many d414 more were the turbo Dt414
used in the 1066,1086 and 88 series tractors.

I was wondering if the Bosch pump that you are talking about is a rotary pump or is a P-series straigh line pump. Reasoning, i know how to turn up the pump on the bosch ones, just like in a B-series cummins. Has anyone turned up a diesel in a combine before....hehe....

Hi, The 407 will have 2 oil filters inside canisters on the left rear, and a roosimaster pump on the front right. The 414 will have spin on oil filters at the right rear, and a bosch pump left front. Good luck, Chuck
