I'm geting my two year old, who has developed an obsession for tractos, a push pedal Super H for Christmas. How wrong is it that my first thought was how I can remove the Super H and put a standard H emblem on it?

I need help.

Man, i wish my tin was as straight as that. *sigh*

Actually you can buy decal sets for these from Ertl! I bought one of these for my boy and I think it had a parts order form or something in the box. You could put M decals if you wanted. The website for the pedal tractor stuff is scalemodeltoys.com
This is the Ertl website

Get some white paint, a good hobby knife, and masking tape. Mask over the decal, cut out the circle and the H, then peel back the decal and paint white over it, once it dries, peel off the tape and you should have the white circle, red H, and it be the right size too.

Do what you want, but seeing that the pedal tractor does have the disk brakes, as well as the larger carburetor, it definately is a Super H.

I was waiting for someone to say "But it's obviously a Super!"

And it's the two year old with the obsession?
BTW, it is a Super. Just look at the brakes.

I argued with myself before I even said anything. I'm sure you can find a way to replace that "super" decal with a regular "H' decal. Maybe even contact the "ERTL" folks? I'm sure your son won't know the differance, and then it will look just like Dads, which really is what's important.

Hey Mike, Get yourself some inkjetprinter compatable self adhesive vinyl and print yourself a new sticker and stick it on.

My thought is: don't sweat the small stuff.
He'll love that gift, and you both can enjoy.
