the tapped hole in the top of the exhaust maninfold is what? 2" pipe tap ? My brother in law has an International 20/40 I think. Does it have the same exhaust opening? His manifold bolt hoses are all screwed up so I was thinking about cleaning up the threads in the manifold and screwing a piece of pipe in it to hook a muffler to. He's already let the tractor lock up on him once from water getting in. Luckily, I used some PB Blasterand let it sit a few days and got it freed up again. Does anyone know where I can get a tap that size to chase the threads with, without breaking the bank?

Tool Rental companies save you money on an item you may use once. Be sure you are not cross threaded. JimN

The pipe is 2". Try www.harborfreight.com, they have a set(11/4",11/2",2") for $60.
