Yeah, I took one off a dead SC and put it right on one with the standard drawbar but my tractors were sitting side by side and like everbody else said, you need all the little pieces or it can be a hassle. Hey Hugh, I don't have any spare parts, but which ones come up missing?

Hugh is correct (as usual), but the control valve likely stayed with the tractor, along with the modified tubes that run from the pump to the reservoir. You can purchase an aftermarket block that mounts between the tubes and the reservoir and a spool valve that mounts on the light bar. This keeps control of the fast hitch separate from the touch control levers. The factory hydraulic parts will be hard to find. Might not work as good as the factory setup, because I think there was another valve or two that the factory setup included, but it will work.

Ralph: If your going fast hitch shopping just a bit of advice. Get a parts book and be sure you get every last little part of the hitch, particularly the hydraulic control valve.

There are certain parts on fast hitches, everyone seems to find another use for, thus they quietly tuck that out of sight during sale of hitch. I have a fast hitch here off a Farmall 100. When I bought it I knew certain pieces were missing, but the price was right, or so I thought at the time. I always figured I'd run across those missing pieces someday. That was 17 years ago, haven't seen them yet. I've seen countless hitches with same parts missing, and by gosh, everyone keeps the same part. Most of folks think it's just one minor item, he wont miss it. Kind of hard to fathom how their brain works, if the hitch wont go up and down, I never figured it was worth much.

Just curious Hugh; what are the pieces you are missing on the 100 Fast Hitch. I have some extra pieces myself.

Yes it was an option starting in 1953 I think later in the year. I have a 1953 Super C (made in mostly Oct of that year) I like my fast hitch on my Super C makes the tractor real handy espicaly since it has down pressure.

I wouldn't mind finding a fast hitch for my 52 SC if somebody was close to or in Canada or would ship to Ontario. I would need everything that goes from the swing arm at the pump back. Does anybody make any kind of repos of these? Terry
