How does the oil get into my governor on my Farmall C, and super C? Where does it come from? Thanks!
Bob

Don't remember for sure, but I believe the oil is pushed uot of the front cam bearing & is thrown or carried by the gears up into the governor area. After leaving the front bearing, it is more or less a splash system.

the timeing gears mesh with the governor gear. oil travels around the gears.

Banjo, yes I know, but where is it coming from? How does it get onto the timing gears? I have never seen any bijure drip system in there, and when I get into the timing gears and the governor to make repairs, it seems drier than it should be. Thanks for your in-put.

Banjo,

That's OK, know how it is Because I do it sometimes myself. The next time I am in there, be taken a better look. Thanks!
