How much is a 504 diesel worth these days? It has straight tin with surface rust. I couldn't get it to start at 52 degrees. I'm sure it is tired. It will need a new starter, steering wheel, and air cleaner cap to start with and a lot of TLC.
Thanks.

Here is my 1800 actual documented houred 504 D that was bought new with this 1701 IH front end loader and a number 200 IH fast hitch blade (not shown). I would sell it if the price were right but it would have to be over seven grand. This one is a true cream puff. I added the Schwartz wide front in 2001, bought the front end brand new and the tractor has had 20 hours put on it since I put the front end under it. It is a true cream puff. Sheet metal paint is all original, the white has been touched up and the castings have been touched up some.

Forgot to mention, this one WILL start at about any temp as long as you hold the glow plug button down long enough. The colder the weather, the longer you hold the button. Anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute.

I can't speak to a diesel, but I bought a 1968 IH 504 (LPG) that was in rough shape but running for $1000.

Bought off ebay in California.
