I'm looking at a 1949 Cub that has a broken fan that took out the radiator. It appears that the pulley split in the area of the drive belt. Any idea how hard/expensive this will be to repair? I see the "reproduction" radiators are about $120 + freight - do these fit very well?

Radiators from china don,t fit. The ones from India are short one row of tubes, the last thing you want with thermosyphon cooling

My guess is you will need to replase the front casting on the engine along with the radiator

I bought my radiator for my 49 cub from my local radiator shop for 120 bucks, and it went on without any problems.
